![]() Grace Chan, B.Sc, R.M.T., D.O.M.P. President Phone: 416-924-1107 ext. 38 Grace graduated from the University of Toronto in 1974 with an Honours B.Sc in Physiology and Psychology. In 1976 she completed massage therapy training at the 3HO Foundation. Together with Christine Sutherland, she founded Sutherland-Chan School & Teaching Clinic in 1978. In 1980, working with Christine Sutherland and Rhona Birenbaum, she began opening professional massage therapy clinics in Toronto under the name Sutherland-Chan Clinics Inc. Grace has also taught continuing education courses for massage therapists in Hong Kong and throughout Canada and the United States. In 1998 Grace graduated from the Canadian College of Osteopathy with a Doctorate in Osteopathic Manual Practice. Throughout her many other activities, Grace has always maintained a part-time private practice in massage therapy, and now blends massage and osteopathic treatment approaches in her work. Grace was responsible for the establishment of the American Massage Therapy Association Foundation in 1991 and continued as President until 1995. She also served as the Canadian District representative on the AMTA Board of DSirectors from 1987-1989.
