Breast Massage
Instructors: Debra Curties, Pam Fitch
This two-day workshop provides the knowledge, techniques,
and therapeutic relationship skills needed to provide breast massage
appropriately and effectively. It includes lecture presentations,
practicum sessions, and discussion group formats. The first day focuses
on breast tissue anatomy and function and ‘well breast’ massage;
the second day includes breast massage during pregnancy, clinical
implications of benign and malignant conditions, and an overview
of common breast surgical procedures and scar work.
