To be eligible for entry into the Sutherland-Chan program, applicants must provide documentation of successful completion of the following:

1) An Ontario Secondary School Diploma or its equivalent. If you cannot provide such documentation, you will be required to do a high school equivalency test.

2) A recent science course with a final grade of 65% or higher in one of the following categories: 

a) An applicable Human Science Course in biology or physiology  

b) Sutherland-Chan's Physiology Prerequisite Course

3) A recent Police record check

4) Sutherland-Chan's Introduction to Massage Prerequisite Course or an equivalent 14 - hour basic massage course

5) Grade 12 or college English course with a grade of 65% or higher. Students with a mark lower than 65% may write the Canadian Adult Achievement Test (CAAT) or elect to take the Sutherland-Chan Physiology Prerequisite Course rather than the CAAT.
