Top results in the board exams and high employability
After completing massage school, on the road to entering practice, you will have to pass examinations set by the governing body of the profession (The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario). Graduates of Sutherland-Chan have an impressive success rate at these examinations. In the past three years, the success rates of our graduating classes at the August CMTO Registration exams were 98%, 88% and 85%.
After becoming registered practitioners, Sutherland-Chan alumni are considered highly employable. In our 1999 graduating class (2000 statistics pending), 97% were employed within six months. In 2001 we also had one of the lowest student loan default rates, at 1.7%, in the private vocational schools sector. We believe that these types of results reflect our commitment to you the student, and to the quality of our educational program.
